We’re introducing passkey authentication for your Cathay account. Passkeys use either a PIN or biometric information, such as your fingerprint or face, to verify your identity and authenticate your account. It’s simpler, more secure, and doesn’t require you to enter your password every time, so you can access your bookings, miles and rewards even faster.
With passkeys or two-factor authentication, you’ll be able to sign in to your Cathay account by simply unlocking your personal device.

Why use a passkey?
No more forgetting your password. Your passkey only requires your face ID, fingerprint or device PIN to sign in.
Passkeys provide strong protection against threats such as phishing. They are more secure than a traditional password.
Passkeys are automatically synced across your devices through your password manager, such as iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager.
Your passkey is privately stored on your personal device and is never shared with Cathay Pacific or any third-party partners.
