    Winner: Le Cinq, Paris, France

There’s nothing understated about Le Cinq , which garnered more than twice the votes of its distinguished runner-ups, Bodega El Capricho. Set within the palatial Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, this three-Michelin-starred gem has long been considered the pinnacle of French haute cuisine. Chef Christian Le Squer’s elegant prix fixe menu dazzles with dishes such as sea bass with caviar and buttermilk, and foie gras sculpted “like a pebble”, presented in a delicate broth.

“Le Cinq is a masterclass in French haute cuisine: sumptuous, theatrical and flawlessly executed” – Dee Poon, Cathay Pacific's Cathay Diamond member
