Designed by André Fu, the effortlessly elegant hotel is known for its generously sized suites that feel more like residences than hotel rooms. Fresh from a massive makeover, the Regent has returned to the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade after nearly 20 years as the InterContinental. Chi Wing Lo, the Hong Kong-born architect behind the brand-new look, makes excellent use of neutral hues and natural materials to create a calming environment that spotlights the fantastic harbour views at every opportunity. Moreover, a rooftop pool and a smattering of top-notch restaurants like Nobu and two-Michelin-starred Lai Ching Heen round out the experience.

For over sixty years, the Mandarin Oriental has welcomed a steady stream of celebrities and world leaders. The glamorous guestrooms – adorned with rich wood, leather and silk – overlook Central's buzzing streets or Victoria Harbour. Loyal devotees also appreciate the exceptional service, spa and restaurants: Captain’s Bar, Man Wah and The Chinnery are local institutions, and the recent addition of The Aubrey, a contemporary Japanese izakaya, proves this old dog can learn new tricks.
