Effective 20 August, if travelling from or have visited a Group A country (high-risk places) – including Thailand– only fully vaccinated Hong Kong residents with a recognised vaccination record will be permitted to enter Hong Kong.
Accompanied children of Hong Kong residents who are under 12, and are flying with adults who meet the above criteria, will also be able to enter Hong Kong regardless of their vaccination status.
