What’s the Deal?

‘An open house of fun’: that was our first thought as we stepped into Gangnam’s newest five-star. Since its opening late last year, Andaz Seoul Gangnam has become the place to be in Seoul’s ritzy district. Checking in at the informally cool lobby (think flower shop, bar, art) feels more like a brush with Seoul’s beautiful crowd than mere formality.

Rooms

The concept of bojagi, a graphical, traditional form of Korean cloth art, underpins the whole hotel. You can really feel it when you’re in one of the guestrooms, with the layout, furnishings and punches of colour all playing off bojagi-inspired rectangles. It feels a far cry from the cookie-cutter rooms of many luxury city hotels.

Facilities

Business travellers have access to large conference venues as well as all-day dining restaurants for entertaining. For unwinding, step into The Summer House, complete with a 16-metre pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, fitness centre and spa treatment rooms. In the Andaz Seoul Gangnam, you’ve got a whole new type of Gangnam style.
