Following the directive given by the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC), Cathay Pacific Airways will cut 50% of its scheduled flights to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle from 11 to 13 June (Tuesday to Thursday) due to planned industrial action by air traffic controllers in the country.
Accordingly, Cathay Pacific will cancel flight CX261 (Hong Kong-Paris) and CX278 (Paris-Hong Kong) from 11 to 13 June. Passengers who are booked on these cancelled flights are advised not to make their journey to the airport. Affected passengers are advised to make alternative arrangements via the “Manage My Booking” service at www.cathaypacific.com.
Passengers who are booked on our flights to and from Paris in the next few days are encouraged to postpone any non-essential travel to later dates. The airline will waive re-booking and re-routing charges for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on or before 10 June for travel to Paris with a Cathay Pacific confirmed booking from 11 to 13 June.
Flights that will be operating from 11 to 13 June are CX279 (Hong Kong-Paris) and CX260 (Paris-Hong Kong).
For those with onward connections in Paris, they should contact the respective airlines operating that flight.
Cathay Pacific is closely monitoring the development of events, and will make announcements should the situation change. Passengers are advised to enter their contact details in Manage My Booking at our web site to ensure they receive the latest notiFLY messaging via SMS or email.
We thank our passengers for their patience and understanding.
