Registered accounts

The information collected during the account sign up process and in your profile enables us to provide you more efficient and convenient booking services, as well as a more personalised customer experience. A Registered Account is our basic account option. Free and incredibly easy to join, it will enable you to have a more convenient online experience with us by including faster bookings, easier booking management, and more personalised communications. In order to access your Registered Account profile, you can sign in easily with the email you provided during the registration process. A membership number is not required.

Registered Account holders do not require a membership card to utilise their account or realise its benefits.

You will receive a follow-up email shortly after requesting to create your Registered Account. Follow the link in this email to set your password and activate your account. After completing these steps, a successful account confirmation message will be displayed on the page.

A Registered Account helps make the booking process faster and easier. Stored personal and companion travel documents can be used to pre-populate booking and check in details, meal preferences can be saved, and all your upcoming flights can be viewed and managed from one central location.

To reset your password, click the "Forgotten your membership number or Password?" tab in the sign in area of the header and follow the instructions accordingly. A "Reset Password Email" will be sent to your log in email address shortly after.

You can also reset your password from your profile page at any time.

With a Registered Account, you are able to customise whether or not you receive promotions from Cathay Pacific and/or Cathay Dragon. To change this, sign in to your account and select "Communication preferences” from the menu options located on the left hand side of your profile page.

To change your country profile, toggle to “Communication preferences” from the menu options located on the left hand side of your profile page. Under “Country”, select your updated country and then choose “save preferences” on the bottom of the web page.

If there is already an existing Registered Account under this email address, you will not be able to create another account utilising an identical email address. Alternatively, you can register with an different email address.

You can sign in to your account through the email you initially registered with. If this issue continues after using the correct email, please call the Global Contact Centre.

You can add up to three travel companions into your profile. To add your travel companions, sign in to your account and select “Travel companions” from the menu options located on the left hand side of your profile page. Click “Add another document”, fill out the necessary information and save your changes.

To change or delete your travel documentation, sign in to your account and select "Profile information" from the menu options located on the left hand side of your profile page. Fill in the required information underneath the “Travel documentation” menu option of your profile page. After you’ve made these changes, click “Save changes” below. If you would like to delete your travel documentation information, select 'Clear travel document' next to the travel document you would like to delete and click “Save changes”.

For additional account-related questions and comments, submit your requests via our online form and someone will get back to you within 14 days.

If you are a registered account holder, unfortunately, your sign-in email can’t be reset if forgotten. We suggest trying your most common email addresses with the Forgot Password function to determine your sign-in email.  

Yes, you can request your activation email be resent here. Please remember to accept when configuring your email settings or spam filters. 

For Registered Account members, you may link the booking to your account by first logging into your account, and adding your travel document information under the “Profile Information” tab, followed by entering your booking reference number or e-ticket number in the “Add a booking” section under the “Manage Booking” tab.
