    What is Air + Land

The Air + Land cross-boundary coach transfer service takes travellers between the GBA and HKIA.

With Air + Land, you avoid the hassle of juggling separate bookings and multiple check-ins, streamlining your journey from start to finish and saving you time and energy. Plus, you can enjoy a 15% discount on your coach tickets when you fly with us on selected routes including India, Australia and American inbound routes across all classes.

    How it works

After booking your flight with us, you can add the Air + Land cross-boundary coach service as a separate purchase on the Manage Booking platform. You’ll be asked to select a date and time up to 30 days in advance – the booking service will suggest a departure time based on the arrival time of your flight, but you may opt for a later one. You’ll also need to choose from a selection of over 200 drop-off points across the GBA.

Once booking is complete, you’ll receive a QR code ticket, as well an email and SMS reminder ahead of your journey.

After landing at HKIA, pass through immigration and collect your baggage, then proceed to the Mainland/ Macao Transport Centre. Notify the counter staff of your designated service provider and await transport. Typically, limousines are arranged for this service, but coaches may also be arranged only during peak travel seasons. Your vehicle will take you through the cross-boundary land control points so you won’t have to worry about where to go next.

    Step 1

After you've picked up your bags at baggage claim, exit through Hall A and turn left towards the Mainland / Macau Transport Centre. Approach the designated counter of your coach service provider and notify the staff of your arrival; they will arrange your vehicle. Services run every 15 to 30 minutes.

    Step 2

Once your vehicle arrives, head to Car Park 4 to meet your driver. If you're travelling by coach, exit Terminal 1 at ground level. Your vehicle will be stationed just along Cheong Tat Road. Scan the Air + Land QR code on your ticket to board.

    Step 3

Next, you’ll reach the Hong Kong Immigration control point, where you’ll complete Hong Kong’s exit immigration procedures. If you are travelling by limousine, you can remain seated in the vehicle throughout the process, while passengers travelling by coach will need to off-load their bags to pass through the control point.

    Step 4

You’ll arrive at the Chinese Mainland immigration control point in Shenzhen, where you’ll be required to go through immigration clearance for the Chinese Mainland. To complete the process, all passengers will need to exit their vehicles with their bags. Be sure to have all the valid travel documents ready.

Depending on the control point, the transfer journey from HKIA typically takes around an hour, if not less to certain checkpoints. After clearing immigration, head to the port’s pick-up point, where a member of staff will direct you to another limousine or coach waiting to take you to your designated drop-off point in the GBA.

Experience seamless travel to the GBA by booking your Air + Land cross-boundary coach transfer for your next flight.
