Cathay Pacific resumes Japan flights, advises passengers to check latest flight information

Cathay Pacific Airways advises passengers that flights to Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, which were delayed this morning because of ash clouds from Volcano Kirishimayama in Japan, will operate this afternoon.

The flights affected this morning include three flights to Tokyo - CX504, CX548 and CX520; CX506 to Osaka; CX450 from Taipei to Tokyo; and CX530 from Taipei to Nagoya. These flights have been delayed for about three to eight hours.

All flights to Japan this afternoon will depart as scheduled.

Passengers are advised to check the airlines website, www.cathaypacific.com, for up-to-date flight schedules before departing for the airport and input their contact details in Manage My Booking to ensure they receive the latest update via SMS and email.
