Cathay Pacific has announced that the airline will be offering 17 services per week between Auckland and Hong Kong from 02 – 26 March 2017.
In addition to the airline’s usual twice daily services to Hong Kong*, in March the CX 118 flight will operate Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, departing Auckland 9:00am and arriving 3:25pm.
The flight will be serviced by an A350-900 aircraft meaning that the Auckland route will temporarily be served by two of the all new state of the art aircraft, the first of which will be rolled out by the airline on 31 October.
Vanessa Traille, Cathay Pacific Sales & Marketing Manager for NZ says the additional March services are due to increased demand from the China market and Kiwi holidaymakers.
“Cathay Pacific has historically operated double daily services during the peak season from December to February. Due to high demand in 2017 we are carrying over three of the additional flights per week to March to be serviced by the A350,” says Traille.
