Kani Kei
Kani Kei specialises in seasonal crab-based dishes, mainly using three major species sourced from Japan: king crab, snow crab, and hairy crab. The set menus feature crab with light to strong-tasting umami flavours as an appetiser, sashimi, and main dish – grilled or deep-fried – served with rice, soup, pickles and dessert.
Diners can also choose live crab from the fish tank and ask the chef to prepare it to their preference. A self-service dispenser allows diners to pair their food with the sake of their choice.
