If travelling from or have visited a Group A country (high-risk places) – including Cambodia – only fully vaccinated Hong Kong residents with a recognised vaccination record will be permitted to enter Hong Kong.

Accompanied children of Hong Kong residents who are under 12, and are flying with adults who meet the above criteria, will also be able to enter Hong Kong regardless of their vaccination status.

The Hong Kong SAR Government has introduced strict entry requirements for passengers who are ending their journey in Hong Kong.

The name on your test report MUST be exactly as it appears on your passport and travel documents. 

The Hong Kong Government will not accept any name spelling deviation, nor with any parts of the name missing. 

The nucleic test report must include the term "PCR".

The sample must be taken within 48 hours before the scheduled time of departure.

Separate documentary proof (in English or Chinese) is required to show that the laboratory or healthcare institution where the test is performed is ISO 15189 accredited or is recognised or approved by the relevant authority of the government of the place in which the laboratory or healthcare institution is located.

Ensure test reports and travel dates are dated within the accreditation validity dates.

A confirmation for 21 nights starting on the day of arrival, in designated quarantine hotels. 

Kindly note that all names of the occupants need to be printed on the hotel booking confirmation.

As documentary proof, passengers must present a recognised vaccination record in hardcopy OR softcopy written in English or Chinese that is issued by Hong Kong, or an authority or recognised institution of a place on the “List of Places of Issuance of Recognised Vaccination Records". For the list of recognised COVID-19 vaccines, please visit here.

The name on your vaccination record MUST be exactly as it appears on your passport and valid travel documents. 

Kindly ensure the vaccination record to include the name of the COVID-19 vaccine, number of received dose(s) and the date(s) on the dose(s) administered.

To be considered as “fully vaccinated”, kindly ensure that it must have been at least 14 days since you were given your final dose.
