  • Fare applies to students age 12 to 31 and must hold a valid International Student Identity Card (ISIC), Student number, Student visa or a letter of acceptance from the school. A valid student ID number is required while making the online purchase 
  • Passengers must present the valid documents mentioned above for verification when checking in at the airport. 
  • Note: Passengers who are unable to present the required documents will be required to pay the fare difference over the counter. 



  • Up to 5% fare discount*
  • Additional check-in baggage allowance:
    • One extra piece of baggage at 23kg (maximum 3 pieces) to North America, applicable to ticket subclass V/L/M/K class. ^
    • Up to 40kg check-in baggage (maximum 2 pieces) to all other destinations
    Standard Baggage allowance will be displayed when booking online, but students will be able to find their entitled check-in baggage allowance on e-tickets issued after booking.
  • Change fee : Free of charge. Changes must be made before the ticketed flight/date, otherwise No Show fee (USD150) applies.
  • Meet and Assist Service#
    We understand this might be your first solo travel, as such, Cathay Pacific would like to offer you our Meet and Assist Service at the airport to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey. Our welcoming staff will meet and greet you at the counter and provide assistance and guidance to the boarding gate. At transit and/or arrival terminal, travelers will be greeted and directed to the gate of the connecting flight or the immigration counter. This service can be requested thru "Manage my booking"  after you made a reservation. Please note that the request must be done at least 48 hours prior to departure.
