    What is an Upgrade Pass?

    An Upgrade Pass is a status benefit for members who earn the required number of Status Points to achieve Diamond or Diamond Exec status. Each pass provides a complimentary upgrade to one cabin class above your current booking, subject to terms and conditions. Please see the following FAQs on Upgrade Passes for more information.

    For Diamond members, each Upgrade Pass allows one passenger to enjoy a single upgrade to the next class for one flight sector, up to Business. For Diamond Exec members, each Upgrade Pass allows one passenger to enjoy a single upgrade to the next class for one flight sector, up to First class. 

    Each Upgrade Pass can be used by you, a travel companion, or a redemption group nominee on flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific, subject to availability.
