Changing/Cancelling a bid

Changing your credit card after submitting an offer is not currently permitted. Alternatively, you can cancel your original offer and submit a new one with the new payment details.

To make a new offer, click the link in your cancellation email, or log in to the Upgrade Bid Welcome Page (cathaypacific.com/Upgrade Bid) and follow the simple step-by-step process.

Unfortunately upgrades cannot be transferred at the moment. If you choose to change your flight, your upgrade offer will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be given. Fare conditions remain the same as before the upgrade was accepted, subject to seat availability at the time of booking change.

Yes, provided the offer window has not closed (50 hours prior to departure of the first sector of your flight). To make a new offer, please visit the Upgrade Bid Welcome Page at cathaypacific.com/Upgrade Bid and make a new offer.

If you did not request this change, or if this request appears to have been made by an unauthorised person, please click the cancel button in the email and log in the Upgrade Bid platform with your booking reference and Family Name to cancel the offer. However, if you have submitted bids for multiple passengers, then any passenger listed in the booking will be able to log in and amend or cancel the bid, after which you will receive a notification informing you of the change. Please note that once you have submitted your credit card details to bid for an upgrade, you will not be required to re-enter those credit card details if you wish to adjust the bid amount at a later stage.

Your offer may already have been accepted by Cathay Pacific and we are currently processing your upgrade case.  Please note that an offer can be modified or cancelled up to 50 hours before departure. After that, no modification or cancellation can be made. You can modify or cancel your booking in accordance with the fare conditions of your original booking if you wish to change your booking to another time, but you will not receive a refund or credit for your successful upgrade offer.
