Cathay ChangeMakers 2019

With launched in 2019 as part of Cathay Pacific’s new community engagement strategy, we select three individuals each year who have the ability or the potential to shape and profoundly influence progressive environmental and societal change at large to join ChangeMakers. They represent as thought leaders in their devoted fields and carry out their vision into action to create a sustainable future for the community or the planet, regardless of nationality, gender, age and race.

For the first year, the airline’s three inaugural ChangeMakers in 2019:

  • Ms. Gigi Tung, founder of food rescue and assistance programme, Food Angel
  • Mr. Jeffrey Andrews, a registered social worker serving refugees and ethnic minorities
  • Mr. Craig Leeson, producer of documentary film “A Plastic Ocean” highlighting plastic pollution in the world’s oceans
