Wi-Fi services can be used on Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 above 10,000 feet.

Stay connected in the air

We offer Wi-Fi services on our aircraft, so you can stay connected while flying. Simply access our network from your devices to browse the internet for work or leisure, keep in touch with family and friends, view partner websites, or catch up on news around the globe.

Note that all of our A350 aircraft are Wi-Fi enabled, and we are working on progressively introducing Wi-Fi services across our Boeing 777 fleet.

Connectivity options and customer support

We offer different connectivity options depending on which type of aircraft – either A350 or Boeing 777 – you are travelling. For details and customer help information, please see below.

Complimentary Wi-Fi portal

Go to the Cathay Pacific Wi-Fi portal (wifi.cathaypacific.com) by using your own Wi-Fi equipped device (tablet, laptop, mobile phone) for access to:

  • Cathaypacific.com and Cathay Pacific partners’ websites
  • A 3D moving map application
  • Cathay Pacific catalogue for duty free shopping
  • Destination information
Complimentary satellite TV

Be updated on the latest happenings with three live channels on your personal touchscreen TV. The three channels available are:

  • BBC
  • CNN
  • Euronews

Please note: satellite TV is available on A350 aircraft only.

Internet access packages*

Once the aircraft is at or above 10,000 feet, you can get internet access to email, browse the web, shop online and keep in touch with others via your own Wi-Fi equipped device (tablet, laptop, mobile phone). Choose from the options below or enjoy entertainment on the IFE monitors (video streaming not available):

  • For flights of 6 hours or less at USD12.95
  • For flights above 6 hours at USD19.95
  • One hour continuous use on all flights at USD9.95

We accept the following forms of payment: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB.

SMS and data roaming services

    When you are onboard, you can enable data roaming on your mobile device to send and receive SMS, as well as email and browse Internet. Roaming can be activated after take-off once the aircraft reaches 20,000 feet.

    Please note the following:

  • SMS and data roaming are not available in the United States
  • SMS and data roaming are available on A350 aircraft only
  • Roaming charges will vary and may be applied directly by your local mobile service provider. Please contact your provider for charges.
