Resuming flights from London to Hong Kong

We’re excited to be resuming flights from London Heathrow to Hong Kong from 8 May 2021. While government restrictions remain in place, we'll be operating an increased schedule – exclusively for Hong Kong residents – until the end of May.

Our Cathay Care commitment of enhanced wellbeing measures across your entire journey, also comes with free COVID-19 insurance so you can travel with peace of mind on board and on the ground.

Just in case there's unforeseen turbulence, all of the tickets for these flights are covered by our Fly (worry) free promise. This means you can change your plans without the usual change fees until 31 December 2021.

What to know before you book

You’ll be required to get a nucleic acid test for COVID-19, taken within 72 hours before your scheduled departure time. Please note that other types of tests will not be accepted. 

When you arrive in Hong Kong, you’ll be required to complete your 21-night quarantine at designated hotels.
