One enhanced travel experience on Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon

From 21 November 2016, Dragonair will become Cathay Dragon. Together with Cathay Pacific, Cathay Dragon will provide a more seamless and unified customer experience when travelling to Mainland China, Asia and beyond.

With the launch of the rebrand, you will continue to earn club points and enjoy the same privileges and benefits when flying with both Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon.

Along with the refreshed brushwing logo, livery, and design, you will also soon see an integrated website and mobile app, shared signage to aid wayfinding for both airlines and shared award-winning lounges, with G16 at Terminal 1 of Hong Kong International Airport reopening with a new lounge name and design in 2017.

Both airlines will deliver a premium inflight experience, with Cathay Dragon providing a more contemporary Chinese focus. There will be new pillows and blankets in Economy Class, and new pillows in Business and First Class. Cathay Dragon’s Chinese culinary offering will continue with seasonal clay pot rice dishes on First and Business Class to Shanghai and Beijing between November 2016 and March 2017.

For a contemporary Chinese take on traditional flavours and as a tribute to the beloved local cafés known as “cha chaan tang”, Cathay Dragon has partnered with Chef Nic Cookies, created by celebrity Nicholas Tse, to bring you some familiar tastes of Hong Kong. These delicious snacks will be available for four months starting from 21 November 2016 in First and Business Class on selected Cathay Dragon flights originating from Hong Kong.

With the rebrand, two premium airlines offer one seamless brand experience. Designed to help the whole world travel well to Asia.
