Connecting to and from the Pearl River Delta

With Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon, all major destinations of the Pearl River Delta are reachable via high-speed ferry, coach, or limousine. We connect you to 40 cities in the Pearl River Delta region, including Macao (serving both the Maritime Ferry terminal and Taipa terminal), Shenzhen Shekou, Shenzhen Fuyong, Dongguan Humen, Guangzhou Lianhuashan, Guangzhou Nansha, Zhongshan, and Zhuhai Jiuzhou.

Please make sure you have a valid travel document or visa for Mainland China or Macao SAR before booking or boarding the services stated below.

Ferry and SkyPier Connections

When travelling by ferry between Hong Kong International Airport and the Pearl River Delta, you will enjoy easy, seamless connections via the airport's SkyPier, Link opens in a new window operated by external parties and may not conform to the same accessibility policies as Cathay Pacific. Ferry destinations from the SkyPier include Macao (the Maritime Ferry terminal or Taipa terminal), Shenzhen (Shekou or Fuyong), Dongguan Humen, Guangzhou (Lianhuashan or Nansha), Zhongshan, and Zhuhai Jiuzhou.

Tickets for the ferry can be purchased at the Arrivals hall at Hong Kong International Airport, and should be purchased at least 60 minutes before their scheduled departure time. Passengers arriving by ferry should be at the airport at least 110 minutes before their flight departure time.

Connecting by coach to Mainland China and Macao SAR 

Cross-boundary coach tickets can be purchased for several destinations across the Peal River Delta and the Greater Bay Area. Coach service counters are located at Hall A of Arrival Level (L5), Terminal 1.

Connecting by coach from Mainland China and Macao SAR

Check in for your flight at various locations in Mainland China and Macao SAR. If you have baggage, simply proceed to the bag drop counter at Hong Kong International Airport.
