Cathay Pacific Jakarta flights affected by volcanic ash cloud

Cathay Pacific Airways today (Wednesday, 10 November) announced that flights to and from Jakarta will be affected by the volcanic ash cloud resulting from the eruption of Mount Merapi.

Based on the latest forecast, the following four flights have been cancelled:

From Hong Kong to Jakarta
Two flights - CX777 and CX719 on 10 November

From Jakarta to Hong Kong
Two flights - CX776 on 10 November and CX718 on 11 November

Cathay Pacific will assist affected passengers with alternative arrangements.

Passengers are advised to first check the airline’s website, www.cathaypacific.com, to get the latest flight information before departing for the airport. Customers are also advised to input their contact details in the Manage My Booking function at the website to ensure they get the latest flight information via SMS or email.
