Dragonair Introduces Simplified System for Calculating Extra Baggage Charges

01 Nov 2010

(HONG KONG) Dragonair announced today that it will introduce a new and simplified method for calculating extra baggage charges for all flights in its network with effect from 1 December 2010.

The new charging system for extra baggage will be based on the zone of travel instead of the current method of calculation that’s based on ticket fares. The new system will provide transparency and clarity to passengers in respect of calculating extra baggage charges.

Passengers can view the details of the new and simplified mechanism at the airline’s website, www.dragonair.com, and can calculate themselves what charges they will need to pay.

The airline’s cabin baggage allowances remain unchanged.
