21 Oct 2010

(HONG KONG) Dragonair is advising passengers that on the basis of the current weather forecast relating to Severe Typhoon Megi, flight operations into and out of Hong Kong in the next 24 hours are planned to remain normal. However, situation can change rapidly when the typhoon approaches closer.

While serious disruptions are not expected in the coming days, some flights departing and arriving from Friday (22 October 2010) afternoon to Saturday may still be affected by adverse weather resulting in delays or diversions, depending on the movement of Severe Typhoon Megi.

Passengers travelling on Dragonair flights in the coming days of this week are advised to check the latest flight information on the Dragonair website, www.dragonair.com, before departing for the airport. To ensure customers receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or e-mail, they are advised to update contact details in Manage My Booking through our website.

Dragonair continues to monitor the situation closely and will issue further updates on the flight situation when necessary.
