Dragonair Advises Passengers to Check Latest Flight Information When Typhoon Appraoches (1:15pm)

(HONG KONG) With the Severe Typhoon Megi approaching Hong Kong, Dragonair is advising passengers who have booked flights for the latter part of the week, or who are planning to do so, to check the latest flight information on Dragonair’s website.

On the basis of the current weather forecast relating to Severe Typhoon Megi, flight operations into and out of Hong Kong today (20 October 2010) and tomorrow are planned to remain normal. However, situation can change rapidly when the typhoon approaches closer.

While it is too early to assess now how the typhoon would impact flight operations in the next few days, passengers travelling Dragonair in the coming days of this week are advised to check the latest flight information on the Dragonair website, www.dragonair.com, before departing for the airport. To ensure customers receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or e-mail, they are advised to update contact details in Manage My Booking through our website.
