Cathay Pacific operations to and from New York affected by snow

01 Feb 2011

Cathay Pacific Airways is advising passengers that its flights to and from New York are currently being affected by heavy snow and freezing conditions in the US city.

The airline has cancelled two flights – CX830 from Hong Kong to New York this morning and the 1 February CX831 service from New York to Hong Kong – due to the conditions on the ground.

Passengers on the two affected flights will be protected onto subsequent services between the two cities.

Flights to and from New York may be subject to delays and passengers are advised to check the airline’s website, www.cathaypacific.com, for up-to-date information.

Customers are also advised to input their contact details in the Manage My Booking function at the website to ensure they get the latest flight information via SMS or email.

The airline will continue to monitor the situation in New York and will issue further updates should there be any changes to the flight schedule.
