1. Bvlgari Resort Bali

This clifftop retreat might be the classiest base for guests to explore the island’s idyllic beaches and epic waves. Milanese architect Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel combined contemporary Italian aesthetics with Balinese materials, using volcanic lava stone, indigenous woods and alang-alang thatched roofs inspired by Bali’s rice fields. The property boasts an extensive spa, bespoke butler service and private yoga instruction, while each of the 59 villas and mansions includes a private pool and custom furniture created in collaboration with local artisans. Step into the resort’s private temple for a centuries’ old sacred Melukat purification ritual. The on-site Bvlgari boutique naturally offers an exclusive collection of silk shirts, swimming suits and hats.

2. The Karl Lagerfeld Macau

Located on the glamorous Cotai Strip,  The Karl Lagerfeld Macau  is the world’s only hotel designed entirely by the late fashion icon. His subversive, rock-chic style is exemplified in specially commissioned furniture and artwork, such as his hand-picked grisaille wallcovering, while the high-end Kameo and Createur suites feature a blend of Chinese design elements and art deco influences. Enjoy tea in the hotel’s Parisian-chic lobby lounge, inspired by Lagerfeld’s home library, and drinks at Mesa Bar, helmed by Frederick Ma – whose claim to fame was being named World Bartender of the Year at the 2024 International Bartenders Association (IBA) World Cocktail Championship. There's plenty of opportunity for relaxation, with a luxurious spa, health club featuring indoor and outdoor pools, and baroque garden with grass mazes and gazebos to complete the European-inspired excursion.

3. Palazzo Versace Macau

Entering Palazzo Versace Macau , located within the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, is like stepping back in time to a 16th-century Italian palace. In the lobby, you’ll find Versace’s iconic Medusa head, geometric Greca motif and ornate Barocco print incorporated into the custom carpets, terrazzo flooring and hand-laid enamel mosaic tiles. Each of its 271 rooms and suites is adorned with linens, upholsteries, furniture and tableware, specially curated from the Versace Home Collection. The classic Italian aesthetic extends to the hotel’s indoor and outdoor pools, embellished with Italian glass and marble mosaics. For an unforgettable dining experience, don’t miss Don Alfonso 1890, the Macao outpost of the Michelin-starred, family-owned restaurant from Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, which celebrates the vibrant flavours of the Amalfi Coast

This exclusive boutique hotel houses only seven suites, tucked into the third floor of Palazzo Fendi in Rome’s Centro Storico. The rooms exude sophistication with clean lines, neutral tones, marble doorways and Lagerfeld photos on the walls. The suites sit a stone’s throw away from some of the city’s most popular attractions, like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. After a busy day of exploration, dine at the hotel’s contemporary Japanese fusion lounge restaurant Zuma, which features an open-air terrace for spectacular views of The Eternal City.
