    Through-check to final destination on separate tickets

    Will my baggage and I get through-checked to the final destination if my itinerary includes connecting flights?

    Cathay Pacific will through-check you and your baggage to your final destination if you're travelling on separate tickets that involve connections with oneworld member airline. However, please note that this service is not guaranteed on your return journey if it begins with an airline that does not offer through-checking for separate tickets.

    Ticket Type Baggage through-check Boarding Pass & Seat Assignment
    Flights on a Single Ticket Bag will be tagged through to destination  Issued at origin for all segments 
    Separate Tickets with oneworld member airline Bag will be tagged through to destination if the airline is a oneworld member,  unless required by local customs regulations at the transit location Issued at origin for all segments
    Separate Tickets with Other Airlines* You will need to collect your baggage at the connecting airport and recheck it for the next flight Visit transfer desk to obtain boarding pass

    *Availability of through-check service depends on the agreement with Cathay Pacific and the connecting airline. For confirmation, please contact Customer Care or check with the airport counter.
