Dragonair Offers Refunds for Tickets between Hong Kong and Japan

16 Mar 2011

(HONG KONG) Dragonair announced that, with immediate effect, passengers holding tickets issued on or before 11 March 2011 with departures to and from Fukuoka and Okinawa, for travel between 11 March 2011 and 30 June 2011, will be eligible for a refund.

This is the latest in a series of measures to assist passengers since the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan last Friday. These include free-of-charge extension of travel dates and changes to more than 70 destinations within the network of Dragonair and its sister airline, Cathay Pacific.

Refunds under the arrangements announced today are applicable to all tickets regardless of fare type, including the special fares to celebrate the 100th anniversary of civil aviation in Hong Kong. The refund application should be made on or before 8 April 2011.

The rebooking/rerouting options remain available for Dragonair passengers. Further details are available at http://www.dragonair.com/da/en_HK/specialupdates.

Due to the increasing number of calls to our eService Centre regarding the rebooking and rerouting of tickets for travel to Japan. A special email account WRT#PROM@cathaypacific.com has been created for passengers on ticketing matters. Customers who have purchased their ticket through their travel agent should contact the travel agent directly.
