Cathay Pacific advises passengers on Japan flights to check latest flight information

02 Feb 2011

Cathay Pacific Airways announced that volcanic ash from Volcano Krishimayama in Japan which erupted earlier today (Wednesday) is likely to affect flights to and from Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka.

So far flights are operating according to schedule but the situation is volatile. We are closely monitoring the development and will be assessing the situation as more information becomes available.

Passengers are advised to check the airline’s website, www.cathaypacific.com, for up-to-date information before departing for the airport and input their contact details in Manage My Booking to ensure they receive the latest update via SMS and email.
