You will receive an email at least 2 days prior to the departure date of your flight sector, informing you if you have been successful or unsuccessful. However, there could be technical issues where manual handling is required. In such cases, you may only be notified of results 1 day prior to the departure date. During the period, you will not be able to perform online check-in.

There could be a number of factors affecting the review process and we cannot specify why certain offers are not successful. The amount of your offer is not the only factor that determines whether you will receive the upgrade. Upgrades are selected based on seat availability, your original booking subclass, the number of offers received and other factors that are at Cathay Pacific’s sole discretion; as such there is no guarantee that your offer will be accepted, even at the highest permitted level.

You cannot make a second offer if your offer was unsuccessful.
