How can I add a guardian’s membership information to a minor’s account?

Step 1: From the minor’s account, go to “Update profile”.

Step 2: Click “Add guardian’s contact”. Provide the guardian’s name, phone number, email address and Cathay membership number, ensuring that the information matches the guardian’s account.

Step 3: Add the guardian as the minor’s Redemption Group nominee. 

Step 4: From the guardian’s account, add the minor as a Redemption Group nominee.

Guardian accounts can be linked to up to 5 minor accounts. Note that minors can only transfer miles to a guardian for free if certain conditions are met. Please click here for further details.
