Dragonair Advises Passengers of Possible Flight Disruptions Due To Typhoon Muifa

(HONG KONG) Due to Severe Typhoon Muifa approaching Eastern China, Dragonair flights to and from Okinawa, Shanghai Pudong, Shanghai Hongqiao, Nanjing, Ningbo and Hangzhou are expected to be affected over the next few days.
According to the latest weather forecast, flights today and tomorrow morning (6 August) are expected to operate as normal, but the situation could change rapidly as the typhoon moves closer to the region. Passengers planning to travel to these destinations tomorrow (6 August) or on Sunday are advised to postpone their trips to or after Monday (8 August). All rebooking charges for all tickets issued worldwide on or before 5 August 2011 for travelling on Dragonair flights with confirmed booking involving Shanghai Pudong, Shanghai Hongqiao, Nanjing, Ningbo and Hangzhou between 6 August and 8 August 2011 will be waived.
Passengers travelling Dragonair are advised to check the latest flight information on the Dragonair website, www.dragonair.com, before departing for the airport.
