Winner: YOMASPACE, Guangzhou
The Chinese Mainland’s enormous all-in-one spas have become a wellness phenomenon, and Guangzhou’s YOMASPACE may be the most dazzling of them all. Open 24 hours, this elaborate complex reimagines the concept with warm wood interiors, premium amenities and the polished feel of a high-end wellness retreat. Alongside sleeping capsules, mahjong, cinema and karaoke rooms, and a lavish seafood buffet, guests can indulge in massages, Sichuan-style ear cleaning and facials using products from Swiss luxury skincare brand Valmont.

Guerlain Wellness Spa at Waldorf Astoria New York
Fresh from a sweeping restoration, Waldorf Astoria New York re-entered Manhattan’s luxury scene with one of its biggest statements yet: the world’s largest Guerlain Wellness Spa . The 22,000-square-foot sanctuary channels Park Avenue ritz, with cream-toned interiors and gold accents that feel polished rather than ostentatious. Treatments range from bespoke Guerlain facials to cryotherapy and a Moroccan hammam, while one panellist described a massage here as the best spa treatment they’d ever experienced.
Chenot Palace Weggis
For generations, discerning wellness seekers have flocked to Switzerland for its restorative alpine air and spring water. Chenot Palace Weggis , home to one of the world’s most acclaimed detox programmes, carries that tradition into the future. At this distinguished residence overlooking Lake Lucerne, guests follow the Chenot Method; introduced in 1970, it combines traditional Chinese healing and Western medical approaches with advanced diagnostics, targeted treatments and plant-based meals to support detoxification and long-term health.
Three Graces Spa at Grantley Hall, Ripon
Set within a 17th-century Palladian estate in the Yorkshire countryside, Three Graces Spa at Grantley Hall pairs British country-house grandeur with modern wellness. Having formerly played host to royals and aristocrats, the property makes the most of its bucolic setting with an indoor-outdoor hydrotherapy pool and a Nordic spa garden with ice baths and an outdoor sauna. Open to both hotel guests and day visitors, the spa also offers recovery-focused facilities, including a bespoke Snow Room designed to boost circulation, immunity and relieve tension.
