How do I apply for a tax refund?

You will need to submit a tax refund application online via the Airport Authority’s official page .

Please ensure that you have your flight ticket confirmation email with proof of tax payment, coach or shuttle ticket, your travel document used for entry into Hong Kong, and the boarding pass of your departure flight.

Refunds can be collected via your credit card, e-wallet or in cash at designated money changers at Hong Kong International Airport.
