What is my free checked baggage allowance?
Please visit Baggage Information page for details regarding your standard check-in allowance.
Please note that regardless of cabin class and Cathay status, we will not accept any single bag that is over 32 kg / 70 lbs in weight or 203 cm / 80 inch long in total dimension. The total dimension of your bag is the sum of its width, height, and length (L+W+H=203cm/80 inch). Baggage that exceeds the size and weight of your standard check-in allowance, or exceeds your Cathay or oneworld tier allowance, will require special handling and additional fees.
We have separate guidelines for non-standard baggage items, including musical instruments and sporting equipment.
