    We’ve laid out how to spend an entire day maximising your earn rate below, with the help of our Asia Miles by Cathay app and partners. Don’t forget – if you’re a Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard® holder, you’ll be able to earn even more miles simply by spending throughout the day.

    Yoga is a core tenet of our wellness journey, which allows you to earn miles simply by looking after your health. Begin your morning with an invigorating yoga routine and automatically earn 1 for each twenty-minute session you track.

    Hydrate and start your journey 

    Every expedition starts with a single step and you’ll be able to earn 2 when you hit our wellness journey goal of 10,000 steps. Have your first glass of water and don’t forget to have several more throughout the day, as you can earn 1 when you consume the recommended intake of eight.

    8:00am

    Fuel up for a day of work 

    Grab a coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee on your way to the office, either at their Central or Wan Chai locations. Don’t forget to present your membership QR code at checkout to earn HKD2 = 1, while Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard holders can earn up to HKD4 = 3. For those driving to work, stop by Esso or Shell and fill up your tank, where you’ll be able to convert your Esso Points or Shell Bonus Points  to Asia Miles (up to 3 Esso Smiles Points = 1 and 1,250 Shell Points = 400).

    12:30pm 

    Reward yourself with lunch 

    Been working hard? Head to one of our partner restaurants for an indulgent lunch. The Tsim Sha Tsui crowd can tuck into a hearty bowl of noodles at Pho.dle Bar or Ebisoba Ichigen , while the Central crowd can step things up with an elevated set menu at Spiga or Bombay Dreams .     Get a head start on your chores 

    Ring up Vogue Laundry to help clear out your laundry basket, as they’ll be able to pick up your laundry from your door and whisk it away to be cleaned. Simply present your Cathay membership number when you spend over HKD300 and you’ll earn HKD2 = 1.

    Meet up with a friend for drinks 

    Relax with good company and cocktails after a day of labour at a Cathay partner restaurant or bar for an earn rate of HKD2 = 1, or up to HKD4 = 3 if you’ve got a Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard. Head to the heights of Causeway Bay at Zeng or Alto , where you’ll be able to unwind with stunning views over the harbour from their rooftop bars. Or, head to cocktail Instagrammable lounge Dragonfly in Central’s Tai Kwun for a satisfying drink.

    Rest your head 

    Yes, you can earn Asia Miles simply by sleeping. On our Asia Miles by Cathay app, you’ll be able to log your sleep and earn 1 for every seven hours you doze off in bed. For those who want to rack up extra miles, treat yourself to a staycation and book one of our partner hotels – like The Langham or Eaton HK – for a perfect night’s rest and you’ll be able to earn 500 or 250 respectively simply by staying at these hotels.
