Admiring a beautiful piece of jewellery may be a fleeting experience, but its creation represents the pinnacle of artistry and time-honoured dedication to craftsmanship.
L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts is a pioneering institution founded in 2012 with the mission to open the world of jewellery to all who seek knowledge and inspiration. Supported by Van Cleef & Arpels, L'ÉCOLE opens doors to the culture and savoir-faire that lies behind transforming precious metals and ornamental stones into creations of timeless beauty.

Beyond its original campus on Paris’s Grands Boulevards and new campuses in Shanghai and Dubai, L'ÉCOLE brings this vision to life at its Asia Pacific campus inside K11 MUSEA, Hong Kong, opened in 2019. Each month, more than 20 adult courses are offered in English or Cantonese around three pillars: The Art History of Jewelry, The World of Gemstones and Savoir-Faire.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or inquisitive newcomer, you’ll learn under the tutelage of L'ÉCOLE’s distinguished experts – jewellers, artisans, historians and gemmologists – through hands-on experiences that reveal the secrets of haute joaillerie. From evaluating gemstone quality to understanding the craftsmanship behind iconic creations, every course is an invitation to a world of brilliance.
L'ÉCOLE also nurtures a discerning new generation through creative workshops for children aged 5 to 17, with advanced programmes for teenagers eager to deepen their understanding of jewellery’s artistry and heritage.
Beyond the classroom, L'ÉCOLE shapes cultural dialogue through books, podcasts, exhibitions and talks by world-renowned experts, while undertaking research projects and partnerships with museums and academic institutions globally.
