Why am I asked to enter a one-time verification code when signing in? What should I do if I can’t receive it?

If you receive a one-time verification code during login, it will be due to the following reasons:

    • Two-factor authentication for sign-in
    • Suspicious activity detected during sign-in

If suspicious activity is detected during sign-in, you will be requested to verify your identity via a passkey or SMS OTP, as we want to make sure it’s really you.

If you have turned on two-factor authentication sign-in and wish to turn it off, you can go to ‘Account Overview’ > ‘Edit Profile’ > ‘Account Security’ to turn off two-factor authentication.

If you are unable to receive SMS messages, you may see a prompt stating "I didn’t receive a code" on the page. You can choose to receive the code via a phone call or select another option to verify your identity.
