    How does this impact my membership in 2026?

    There are no changes to how you qualify for membership status in 2026. You will still be able to enjoy your current privileges and earn mid-status benefits through 2026. All mid-status benefits earned in 2026 will remain valid for 12 months from the date of issue. 

    However, all membership periods (including upgrades) starting within 2026 will end on 31 December 2026. This arrangement will apply to every member.  

    From 1 January 2027, the enhanced Cathay membership programme will take effect.

    All dates are in Hong Kong Time.
