Check out the “Year of the Pig” artwork on display at our Hong Kong airport lounge

As the official airline partner for The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) “Year of the Pig” public art project, we are delighted to show selected artwork from the project at The Wing, Business lounge at Hong Kong International Airport from now until September 2019.

Eight pig sculptures will be displayed at our lounge; each a unique artwork as interpreted by renowned local and international contemporary artists. They include Scottish sculptor David Mach’s “Little Ming” piglet with a classic Ming vase design, and the silver leaf “Sacred Entity Elise” pig by Hong Kong artist Teddy Lo. Once exhibited, all the sculptures from the project will be auctioned by SAF to raise funds for charitable organisations that support disadvantaged children around Asia.

If you missed out on seeing the “Year of the Pig” project at this year’s Art Central in Hong Kong, here is your chance to catch some of the art pieces at our lounge before you fly. What’s more, if you upload a photo of the exhibits to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags “#SAFPigs” and “#SovereignArtFoundation”, you might win a prize from SAF.
