Terms and Conditions
- The Campaign is only open to Cathay members who completed registration.
- The Campaign period starts at 00:00 Hong Kong Time on 16 June 2025 and ends at 23:59 Hong Kong Time on 31 July 2025 (the “Campaign Period”).
- To participate in this campaign, members make any transaction with any participating partners during the Campaign Period (“Eligible Transactions”).
- To qualify for Offer 1, members must have no previous Visa or Mastercard transactions linked to their Cathay membership profile prior to the Campaign Period, and complete their first eligible transaction with participating partners during the Campaign Period ("First Eligible Transaction").
- Members make any eligible transactions by using any of Visa credit cards with participating partners during Campaign Period (“Eligible Visa Card Transactions”).
- Members make any eligible transactions by using any Mastercard with participating partners during Campaign Period (“Eligible Mastercard Transactions”).
- The campaign mechanism is listed below:
i) Register to participate the campaign via designated page.
ii) Members who complete the First Eligible Transaction with Mastercard or Visa credit cards linked to their Cathay membership profile at participating partners will receive a one-off double miles reward. This offer is valid once per member during Campaign Period (“Offer 1”).
iii) Members are eligible to earn a one-off bonus miles upon reaching the designated spending amount with participating partners during Campaign Period ("Offer 2"). If member fulfills more than 1 spending requirement(s) listed below, members will only be entitled to the bonus miles that is of the highest one. Each member can receive up to 1,000 bonus miles during the entire Campaign Period.
a) Members will receive a one-off 100 bonus miles upon accumulating spending of HKD5,000;
b) Members will receive a one-off 250 bonus miles upon accumulating spending of HKD10,000;
c) Members will receive a one-off 1,000 bonus miles upon accumulating spending of HKD20,000 or above. - This campaign is only applicable to eligible Card Linked Earn partners in Hong Kong. Please click here for the details of participating partners.
- To enjoy Offer 1 and Offer 2, members must link their Mastercard or Visa credit cards to Cathay membership profile and register via the designated page before completing the transactions. Cathay will verify eligibility based on successful registration and registration timestamp.
- The bonus miles from Offer 1 and Offer 2 will be credited to the eligible members' account by 30 September 2025.
- Cathay is not responsible for any failure in miles crediting due to errors in the input of membership details.
- Members who participate in the Campaign confirm that they understand and agree to be bound by these Campaign Terms and Conditions. All matters and disputes relating to the Campaign and these Campaign Terms and Conditions will be subject to the final decision of Cathay.
- These Campaign Terms and Conditions shall be construed and governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
- Cathay reserves the right at any time to amend any of these Campaign Terms and Conditions or to terminate the Campaign.
- Terms and Conditions of Card Linked Earn apply.
- Other Cathay terms and conditions apply.
- These Campaign Terms and Conditions are written in the English language and may be translated into other languages. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and the translated version, the English version shall prevail.
