Cathay Pacific Chief Operating Officer Rupert Hogg said: “Winning the Skytrax World’s Best Airline award for the fourth time in a decade was a very proud moment for Cathay Pacific – and for Hong Kong, our home city. We want to share our happiness with the people of Hong Kong who have supported Cathay Pacific through thick and thin for the past seven decades and helped us to grow into a world-beating airline.

“Cathay Pacific has been making significant investments to improve our customer offering. Through this special promotion, we hope customers can experience our award-winning premium products and services. ‘fanfares’ is already a popular tool for getting great-value fares and I’m sure it will become even more popular next week when the HK$100 specials go on sale!”

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday, 19 August) at 8am, customers can visit the “fanfares” website to find details of the terms and conditions of next week’s special offers and get ready for when booking begins on 26 August. To get first-hand information about “fanfares”, customers can subscribe to the airline’s e-newsletter at www.cathaypacific.com/cxpecials.

“fanfares” was first launched in October 2012 and has been offering highly attractive Economy Class ticket fares from Hong Kong to 11 destinations each week, from 8am every Tuesday.
