More than friends: Lisa Kudrow enlists the help of her comic peers in Web Therapy

Internet crazyAs the third season of Web Therapy premieres onboard, Lisa Kudrow, the show’s co-creat...or and star, proves that laughter really is the best medicine, writes George PalathingalAn original and truly hilarious comedy that initially launched on the Internet in 2008, Web Therapy became a TV show in 2011 and just wrapped up its third season, which is premiering onboard this month. The show’s major draw is its star-studded cast, which includes co-creator Lisa Kudrow (of Friends fame) and recurring guests such as Steve Carell (The Office) and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace). These sitcom veterans are given free rein to improvise and it’s a delight to see them interact and bounce off each other.Kudrow plays Fiona Wallice, a therapist who has found success conducting sessions on the Internet. As the latest season kicks off, a former employee is trying to steal her idea and sell it to Google. To make matters worse, her on/off love interest is having a baby with someone else and a Broadway musical about her life doesn’t look like it’ll turn out the way she hoped. We find out how all these relationships are progressing through a series of split-screen web chats. Thanks to the sparkling dialogue and impeccable comic timing of all involved, viewers don’t get a chance to feel bored. In fact, audiences will find themselves laughing along to the brilliant exchanges between Kudrow and her gang. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a newcomer to the show, you’ll be hooked and desperately seeking your next therapy session.
