How does my Marco Polo Club membership fit with oneworld®?
As a member of The Marco Polo Club, whenever you travel with any of the oneworld alliance airlines on qualifying flights, you earn Club miles and Club sectors that contribute to your tier status.

Eligible Economy Class tickets enable you to earn 50% or 100% of your actual miles flown and 0.5 or 1 Club sector for every sector flown. Eligibility is based on the fare class booked, as shown on your air ticket.

Eligible Economy Fare Classes for Club miles and Club sectors with oneworld alliance airlines (effective as of 1 February 2013):

NB: Travel on industry/agency discount, prize, donation, redemption, group and other special discount tickets do not qualify for mileage/sector accrual. Eligible fare classes are correct as of the effective date as stated above, but subject to change.

(1) Fare classes W, R, E on Cathay Pacific Airways earn 110% Club miles/ 1.1 Club sectors.
(2) Fare classes C, R and X on American Airlines® are upgrades to Business Class but accrue as Economy Class Club mileage/sector. Fare class Q is not eligible for Club mileage/sector accrual on Trans-Atlantic routing (between North America and Europe).
(3) Fare classes T, W and E on British Airways earn 110% Club miles / 1.1 sectors.
(4) Fare classes Y and J listed for discounted fares on Japan Airlines will earn 50% Club miles/ 0.5 sectors.

Fare class K on LAN is not eligible for Club mileage/sector accrual on flights that operate wholly within Argentina.

Fare classes M, L, V and S on LAN are not eligible for Club mileage/sector accrual on flights that operate wholly within Argentina and Peru.

Fare classes S, N, Q and O on LAN are not eligible for mileage/sector accrual on domestic flights that operate wholly within Ecuador.

Fare classes N, Q and O on LAN are not eligible for mileage/sector accrual on flights that operate wholly within Argentina, Chile and Peru.

Fare classes W and P on LAN earn 125% Club miles/ 1.25 Club sectors.

(6) Fare classes W, R and T on Qantas Airways earn 110% Club miles / 1.1 Club sectors.

Yes. The oneworld network offers over 850 destinations worldwide, so it is easier for you to reach and maintain The Marco Polo Club tier that you deserve.

How do I make sure my oneworld flights count towards my Marco Polo Club membership status?
Simply remember to quote your Marco Polo Club membership number when making a reservation with any of the oneworld alliance airlines. Your flight will be added to your Club miles and Club sectors total.

Diamond, Gold or Silver members of The Marco Polo Club will also receive priority service with oneworld alliance airlines. You will find a coloured symbol on your Marco Polo Club membership card that indicates your oneworld status - Emerald, Sapphire or Ruby.
