Airport Facilities

  • Child Care Center is located at the Transit Area.
  • Shower rooms are available on First Floor, Departure Terminal. Day rooms are available at the following locations:
    • First Floor, Arrival Terminal. For reservations, proceed to the taxi counter in the Arrival Lobby Banking Area.
    • First Floor, Departure Terminal. For reservations, proceed to the Lotus Lounge in the Transit Area. (Managed and operated by the Airport Authority)
  • The Business Center is located on Ground Floor, Transit Area.
  • The Medical Center is located at the Arrival Terminal near the CIP Lounge.

International:
No need to clear customs or Immigration formalities. Please proceed directly to transit lounge.

Customs Allowance

Tobacco Products: 200 cigarettes or 100 cigars
or 50 cigars and 12oz tobacco

Alcoholic Beverages: 2 litres of wine and 1.5 litres of spirits

Others: 2ozs perfume and 0.25 litre of eau-de-toilette. Non-commercial, used souvenirs with value up to USD250.

Foreign Currency limit: A person may bring any sum of money in foreign currencies into Sri Lanka. This sum could be in TCS, bank drafts or currency notes. However, if the total of such sum exceeds USD15000, such sum should be declared to the Sri Lankan Customs.
