Special Ticketing Guidelines for Bangkok Flooding

Due to the flooding in Bangkok, with immediate effect, rebooking charge will be waived for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on/before 24 November 2011 for travel on Cathay Pacific with confirmed booking involving Bangkok between 25 October 2011 and 07 December 2011.

1. Cathay Pacific / Dragonair tickets
   1. Cancellation / Refund / Rerouting
      • No waiver on cancellation, refund or rerouting charges.
   2. Rebooking
      • Rebooking charges will be waived (not applicable for tickets issued in Taiwan) on conditions that -
        Such requests are made on/before 07 December 2011 and before departure for travel on Cathay Pacific / Dragonair with confirmed booking involving Bangkok between 25 October 2011 and 07 December 2011.
      • No show passenger is not eligible for the waiver.
      • Revised (new) travel date must be on/before 15 February 2012 with blackout period of 22 December 2011 to 3 January 2012 and 19 to 31 January 2012, and subject to flight availability. In which case, the ticket expiry date will be adjusted accordingly.
      • The newly rebooked sector must observe and conform to the conditions of the respective fare rule, e.g. black out dates, flight application, weekend / weekday travel, stopover charges, and applicable seasonalities by collecting additional / refunding difference (if any) as appropriate.
   3. Group Tickets
      • Please refer to your local travel agent.

2. Asia Miles airline award tickets
   1. Cancellation/Refund
   • No waiver on cancellation and refund charges.
   2. Rebooking
   • Rebooking is permitted.
   • Due to the expiry of the original ticket, re-issuance service charges will only be waived on conditions that:
     • Such requests are made on/before 7 December 2011 for travel on Cathay Pacific with confirmed booking involving Bangkok between 25 October 2011 and 7 December 2011.
     • Requests for revised (new) travel date must be on or before 15 February 2012, and will be subject to flight availability. In these cases, the ticket expiry date will be adjusted accordingly.
   • The newly rebooked sector must observe and conform to the terms and conditions of Asia Miles.
