Manchester United Soccer Schools
Cathay Pacific endeavours to constantly offer new opportunities to young people in Hong Kong to learn and grow. One of these is our sponsorship of the Manchester United Soccer Schools in Hong Kong. The School is the first of its kind in Asia provides training for promising young soccer players in Hong Kong. Some 500 youngsters aged between 8 and 15 will benefit from a five-month coaching period under Manchester United Soccer Schools trainers. To extend the benefits of this world-class programme to all local youths, a Cathay Pacific Scholarship Programme has been set up for talented young soccer players aged 12 to 15 who may not have the opportunity or resources to enrol in the school. These scholarships serve to encourage students who perform well in both academic and extra-curricular activities like soccer to enrich their learning experience and soccer skills.
