Local Charitable Donation
Charitable Travel Fund
The Cathay Pacific Charitable Travel Fund was set up in 1991 to help members of the community in need. The Fund holds fund-raising events in the Hong Kong community through the donation of air tickets and travel assistance programmes.
Over the years, the scheme has provided travel opportunities for the underprivileged, including children with incurable diseases taking flight to Disneyland, neuromuscular disease sufferers, and others in need to travel abroad for life-saving surgery.
Inflight amenities donation
Since 1995, Cathay Pacific donates obsolete inflight amenities to local charitable organisations. Thousands of senior citizens, physically disabled and mentally handicapped people as well as children are benefited by the donation. Items that were donated, includes blanket, utensils, baggage tag, meal trays, napkin, eye shields, children’s kits as well as computers.
