StudioCX - More Infotainment in the Sky

StudioCX, the inflight entertainment system of Cathay Pacific, encompasses everything from Hollywood blockbuster movies, popular Asian and Western TV programmes, a riveting selection of crystal-clear audio, a wide range of newspapers and magazines including our award-winning inflight magazine Discovery, inflight shopping, games and more.

The PTV Revolution

EntertainmentYou will find a myriad of entertainment choices appearing right in front of you on your Personal Television (PTV). PTVs are available in all seats, and you can now select from more than 20 different video channels in all classes, plus AVOD (Audio/Video On Demand) service to First and Business Class passengers on all long-haul flights! This allows you to view your favourite programme from our wide range of selection anytime you want!

Language of the Skies

As our passengers come from many different Asian and Western countries, each Cathay Pacific flight offers audio-visual programmes in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese. On selected routes there are also many English-language movies with alternative soundtracks in a broad range of European and Asian languages.

AVOD - Audio Video On Demand

Now installed on all of our longhaul aircraft, the AVOD function is available for our First and Business class passengers so you can start, pause, fast-forward, rewind any program, any time you want.
