1. Prices are valid for bookings from now to 27 November 2009, and are subject to change by our office without prior notice, All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars and on per person basis, and includes all relevant airport taxes and charges. Prices are correct as of 26 October 2009 but are subjected to change due to currency fluctuation
2. Passengers planning to use the bonus added benefit of 'free admission to the public enclosure' for 'Cathay Pacific International Jockeys' Championship on 09 December' must travel Singapore/ Hong Kong from 01-08 December and redeem the race ticket by 08 December with VIGOR at Hong Kong Airport.
3. Passengers planning to only attend the main race "Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Race on 13 December", must travel Singapore/ Hong Kong from 01-12 December and redeem the race ticket by 12 December with VIGOR at Hong Kong Airport.
4. Race ticket collection point - On arrival at Hong Kong Airport, after clearing through Customs, please proceed to Vigor Airport Shuttle Services Counter at Kiosk B-13 (Arrival Hall, Exit B). Passengers need to produce CX Electronic Vouchers and CX arrival boarding pass

BOOKINGS

1. Please make your bookings early as flight seat space and race event entrace tickets are all subject to availability at the time of booking.
2. Last day for booking request is on 27 November, but are subject to availability of flight and race event entrance tickets.

TRAVEL DOCUMENT

1. You must have an international passport valid for at least 6 months from the actual date of arrival in Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific and its agents cannot be held liable for any expenses, reimbursements or refund of the package if you are refused entry into Hong Kong for whatever reasons.
2. If visas are required for your travel into Hong Kong, please ensure that it is obtained in advance before departure.

CHECK-IN BAGGAGE (SAFETY WEIGHT LIMIT GUIDE)

1. Please note that this information is NOT about check-in allowance. This is a precautionary measure to avoid injury in handling very heavy baggages. (For check-in baggage allowance information, please refer to your airticket)
2. Effective 01Apr04, the maximum safety weight of each check-in baggage will be limited to 32kgs on all Cathay Pacific flights. Exceeding the limit for a single piece of baggage, will require passengers to repack or split the contents into 2 separate bags to ensure baggage is within safety weight limit.

TOUR CONDITIONS

1. 'CX Hong Kong International Races' is a package offered to passengers travelling with Cathay Pacific on a return flight Singapore/ Hong Kong/ Singapore under this promotion. Passenger arriving Hong Kong from other cities are not entitled to use this package from Singapore.
2. All prices are quoted on per person basis.
3. In compliance to legal requirement in Hong Kong, patrons under 18 years old will not be allowed into the racecourse.
4. Infant and child fares are not eligible for this promotion.
5. This package cannot be purchased in conjunction with any of our other promotions to Hong Kong, like Visit Hong Kong Now or Hong Kong SuperCity, etc.
6. Use of the race day package are subject to further terms and conditions of the respective service provider. Passengers who choose not to use or forfeit the race event/ entrance ticket, etc, are not entitled to any payment or compensation from Cathay Pacific. Besides these offers cannot be transferred, redeemed, exchanged for cash, credit or any item with Cathay Pacific or any other parties including any third party.
7. Prices quoted, and other package components like race event/ entrance ticket, etc are compiled and correct at the time of printing. Cathay Pacific reserves the right to amend the pricing, itinerary or package contents, etc without prior notice.

PAYMENT

CANCELLATION

• Above 21 days before departure: SGD100 (bronze) and SGD200 (silver) per person
• 21-14 days before departure: 75% of package price per person
• 13-1 day before departure or no-show: 100% of package price per person.

AMENDMENT

Economy Class

1. Economy ticket is valid on flight/ date shown, and thus changes are not permitted once air ticket has been issued. (Prior departure from Singapore, we will allow flight change within air ticket validity as long as there are no changes made on the land content, at an amendment fee of SGD75 per person/ per change).
2. Any other request for race package changes will involve cancellation charges above.
3. Once travel has commenced, all changes are not permitted.

Business Class

1. Passengers are allowed to make changes on their flight at an amendment fee of S$75 per person/ per change within air ticket validity as long as there are no changes made on the land content.
2. Any other request for race package changes will involve cancellation charges above.
3. Once travel has commenced, flight changes are allowed at an amendment fee of SGD75 per person/ per change, but race package changes/ amendment is not permitted.

FLIGHT NO SHOW FEE

1. Passengers who don’t turn up at the airport for the booked Singapore/ Hong Kong flight will require to pay a no show fee of SGD150 per person, in order to travel on the next available CX flight to Hong Kong (on the same day/ date as the no show flight booked).
2. But if rebooking is for future dates, then the package cancellation and amendment fee will apply.

REFUND

1. There will be no refund for any unused air ticket, race tickets and any other package components, etc, either in part of full.
2. Any refund appeal for packages cancelled prior departure, please refer to our cancellation charges above.

LIABILITIES EXEMPTION AND DISCLAIMER

1. It is also expressly declared that Cathay Pacific Holidays and/or the travel agents and/or the tour operator act as agents for the owners or contractors providing the means of transportation or other services used during the course of the tour.
2. All tickets issued for such means of transportation or other services are subject to the terms and conditions under which such services are offered or provided. The tour participants shall be deemed to have consented to such terms and conditions, upon acceptance of the tickets.
3. Cathay Pacific Holidays, the travel agents and the tour operator shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay, changes in schedule, hotel overbooking or other inconveniences to the tour participant or to the property or personal effects of such tour participant, which has been caused by such means of transportation or other services unless caused by the negligence of Cathay Pacific Holidays and/ or the travel agent and/ or the tour operator.

FORCE MAJEURE

1. Cathay Pacific Holidays have the sole and absolute discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour in the event of act of terrorism, compliance with any law or government order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, flood or storm, strikes, hostilities, accident or other circumstances beyond the control of Cathay Pacific Holidays which render it necessary in its reasonable opinion that such steps be taken.
2. Cathay Pacific Holidays shall be relieved of all liabilities and obligations resulting from the force majeure events mentioned above and shall not be obliged to refund any amount paid by the tour participants or any unused portions of the tour to the tour participants in such circumstances.
